Once a date is set, the pre-operative instructions start four weeks out: no aspirin, no ibuprofen, no smoking or alcohol.

Pre-op visit, surgery, first week.
The pre-operative appointment and the surgery both take place at 414 North Camden Drive. The packing comes out the day after surgery and the splint between day 5 and 7.
Most patients from abroad stay in a hotel a few minutes from the office, with someone to help for the first 24 hours.

Usually from day 8.
Dr. Kanodia generally clears flying eight days after surgery. Later check-ins can be virtual, with photographs between visits. The recovery timeline covers the months after.
