Virtual consultation · Photo guidelineSeven photographs.
The same seven, every time.
For a virtual consultation Dr. Kanodia reviews your nose from the same angles he uses in the office. Send at least one of each view below; the office will tell you where to send them once your consultation is booked.
The views
How to photograph your nose.
01Front, relaxedFace the camera squarely, eyes level, no expression.
02Front, smilingThe same framing, with a natural smile.
03Three-quarterTurn about 45 degrees so the bridge and tip both show.
04Base viewHead tilted back so the nostrils and the base of the nose are exposed.
05Left profileA true side view: ear centred, chin level.
06Right profileThe same view from the other side.
07Profile, smilingOne profile with a smile, which changes the tip.
Before you shoot
Five things that make the photographs useful.
- Daylight, facing a windowEven, natural light and no filters. Flash flattens the bridge and hides the tip.
- Hair back, glasses offThe whole face and both ears visible, with no makeup or contouring on the nose.
- Camera at eye levelHold the phone at arm’s length at the height of your nose, or have someone take them. Keep the whole head and neck in frame.
- A plain backgroundA bare wall behind you, and the same spot for all seven.
- Attachments, not embedded imagesSend full-size files as attachments, not pasted into the message body. In the same message, tell us your name, age, where you are travelling from and what you would like changed.
NEXT STEP
The next step is the consultation.
Once the office has your photographs, Dr. Kanodia reviews them before your virtual consultation. The before and after gallery shows what these same views look like after surgery, and patients who filmed their recovery show the rest.
