World-Renowned

Regarded as “The Best Rhinoplasty Surgeon in LA”. Finesse, Scarless “Rhinoplasty” surgery, with artistic attention to preservation of the attractive original characters, is the key component of how Dr. Kanodia envisions and performs all of his nose surgeries, for last 39 years.
In order to deliver the best natural outcome, obsession and passion for perfection is a key component.
Nose is the center of the human face and any refinement (alteration) must be executed with the utmost subtlety and artistry.
A successful rhinoplasty is a marriage between the face and the nose, so the face is perceived as more attractive to the lens of the camera and to the human eye.
Keeping the nose natural, without any appearance of pinching, ski slope, and turned up is Dr. Kanodia’s guiding principle.
Most patients like their noses and they are just seeking a subtle improvement of what seems to them as not in harmony with the rest of the nose and/or the face. Many of the patients like their noses in frontal view but think the bump or excess projection, distracts from the beauty. By preserving the beautiful tip definition and not inflicting and surgical alteration is of utmost importance.
Dr. Kanodia is sought after by Royalty, Celebrities, Actresses, Models, and other public figures because of his finesse and scarless approach to the nose. While most surgeons perform Open rhinoplasty (leaving a permanent scar at the base of the nose), Closed Scarless Rhinoplasty is the only surgery Dr. Kanodia performs.
Having performed over 10,000 Scarless Rhinoplasty surgeries over the last 39 years and considered best rhinoplasty surgeon, Dr. Kanodia has found that most patients desire refinement over drastic change to their noses.

The Best Rhinoplasty Surgeon
Dr. Kanodia has been entrusted with more celebrity noses than any other surgeon in the world. His secret is minimalism. He knows exactly how to finesse and enhance a nose without causing drastic change. The worst thing in the world for a major celebrity is to undergo a surgery that causes them to look completely different to their fans, family and especially the camera.
Dr. Kanodia’s goal is the make the nose more pleasant on camera without drastic change. Also the stigma of a bad nose job in Hollywood can be career ending and Dr. Kanodia respects that more than any other surgeon in the world. While most surgeons will comment about or discuss celebrity rhinoplasty (that they of course did not perform) online or on social media, Dr. Kanodia obviously cannot and will not, out of respect for his patients. Privacy is our number 1 concern with our celebrity clientele who entrust their face with us. Our high profile clientele prefer to come to us because they believe Dr. Kanodia is the best rhinoplasty surgeon in the world.
A boxy or round tip can be problematic for a nose as it doesn’t allow the beauty of the nose to be seen. Sometimes it takes the focus away from the true beauty of the shape of the nose. Using our scarless techniques, Dr. Kanodia can sculpt and carve the tip cartilages in order to refine the nose without causing major change. Sometimes we reposition the tip, sometimes we sculpt the cartilages, sometimes we use small grafts – or sometimes a combination of all the above. The key is to refine the tip while preserving the natural character of the nose, so it looks as if it were never touched.
A Dorsal Hump (or Bump on the profile of the nose) is one of the most common problems people face with their nose. This can be seen most when looking at the profile view of the nose (side view). This is commonly thought to be one of the most simple parts of a rhinoplasty but ironically is actually one of the most artistically difficult. Whether to shave 1 vs 2 vs 3 millimeters can drastically change the entire look and feel of the nose.
This is where Dr. Kanodia’s mastery of the nose comes into critical play. The novice surgeon will not understand the major impact differences in micro-millimeters can make. Micro-millimeters can make the difference between a “scooped ski-slope” nose or an elegant profile.
A droopy tip (hook nose) can take away the elegance of an otherwise pretty nose. Sometimes the nose droops on its own. Sometimes it droops due to the pull-down muscles being too active when smiling. This can be a major concern and one that can be perfectly addressed with a scarless closed rhinoplasty.
But the important key is to rotate the nose subtly because too much rotation can cause the dreaded “Miss Piggy” effect. Dr. Kanodia has multiple maneuvers he has perfected over the last 37 years to carefully rotate the tip of the nose to an elegant design without any tell tale signs of surgery.
A Crooked nose can challenging with the proper techniques. Most crooked noses come from a weakness in the middle third of the nose, or crooked nasal bones. Sometimes it comes from asymmetric nasal tip or crooked nasal tip as well. Regardless of the root cause, Dr. Kanodia is able to address any of these to create a straighter nose on frontal view using advanced grafting and nasal bone repositioning techniques.
While there is no such thing as a perfectly straight nose, Dr. Kanodia succeeds in getting your nose straighter with his advanced techniques.
Female Rhinoplasty requires a refined vision of the face. The entire face must be taken into account when performing a rhinoplasty as the features of the cheeks, jawline, and length of the face are all factors that influence what type of nose structure would match the face. The biggest question for the female nose is whether to make the profile perfectly straight or to create a tiny scoop effect to give a more feminine contour. Refining the profile, the tip, the nasal bones, the middle third cartilages and even fixing a deviated septum (septoplasty) of the nose are all part of the process for female rhinoplasty.
Male Rhinoplasty is very special surgery that must be done with the utmost caution. A male nose must always preserve its masculine character in order to not make it look feminine. Dr. Kanodia has special techniques to keep the natural character of the nose while refining the overall painting.
A masculine nose comes from preservation of certain features such as not turning the nose up too much, not scooping out the profile, not making the bones too narrow. This is essentially the most conservative surgery performed by Dr. Kanodia. Fixing a deviated septum (Septoplasty) is also a key component for male surgery and is usually performed in conjunction when required.
Dr. Kanodia has more experience with Teenage Rhinoplasty than virtually any other surgeon in the world. Dr. Kanodia is sought after by teenagers from across the world who come by the masses during summer and spring breaks. Teenage rhinoplasty is a sensitive topic but one that shouldn’t be ignored. A nasal deformity can cause significant psychological repercussion and should be managed as soon as the nose is physically stable and the patient is mature enough.
The nose reaches physical maturity around age 15+ for most noses, but this varies. Emotional maturity is even more important as Dr. Kanodia will assess the patients demeanor and maturity to determine if they are a candidate for surgery.
Dr. Kanodia has witnessed thousands of teenagers over the years increase their self-confidence and increase their motivation in life after a Scarless Closed Rhinoplasty. We never recommend a parent should suggest a teenager to get surgery, but if the teenager brings up the topic, a discussion is warranted.
Ethnic Rhinoplasty requires very careful anatomical considerations. Often aside from thick skin that must be taken into account, ethnic noses also tend to have a flat and broad bridge of the nose. In order to build the bridge of the nose, sometimes cartilage grafts or implants can be used to support and build the skeleton of the nose. The skin, the cartilage and even the bones of an ethnic nose are very different from any other race and it is important to recognize these things. Dr. Kanodia’s significant experience gives him a superior advantage in the arena of ethnic rhinoplasty.
Asian Rhinoplasty requires a very special skill set and knowledge of the anatomy. The broad, flat dorsum is a typical issue for an Asian nose and addressing this appropriately is paramount for success. Dr. Kanodia addresses this concern with cartilage grafting or an implant that helps to build the bridge of the nose up. Utilizing the scarless technique to manage this is critical when possible as it allows no tell-tale signs of surgery.
Russia, one of the worlds largest countries spanning 2 continents, is home to some of the world’s most beautiful faces. Dr. Kanodia aims to keep the face natural and protect the character of the nose, while making the meaningful refinements.
Dr. Kanodia has a unique European practice. Kanodia routinely sees patients every year from London, Paris, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, and more. These patients seek out Dr. Kanodia across the globe for his expertise in scarless finesse rhinoplasty. While most surgeons impose a “reconstructive” mentality with their open rhinoplasty techniques (inflicting a permanent scar), Dr. Kanodia takes the “less is more” approach and practices minimalism with his noses. Subtle changes that are meaningful are what most of Dr. Kanodia’s European patients look for.
Middle Eastern noses are very unique. Dr. Kanodia has taken care of thousands of Middle Eastern patients over the last 37 years from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Dr. Kanodia has a deep appreciation and respect for the Middle Eastern culture and for the minimalism necessary for their noses.
It is incredibly important to preserve the natural character of the nose while only performing the necessary maneuvers to refine and enhance the nose, without drastic change. The stigma of a bad nosejob is haunting, and Dr. Kanodia has perfected the “natural look” for his middle eastern patients with his scarless technique.
It has been an honor of Dr. Kanodia to be entrusted with the care of so many brides before their big day. Performing a rhinoplasty on a bride-to-be requires special care and attention. The key is subtle refinement via the scarless closed rhinoplasty technique. Dr. Kanodia understand the stresses of preparing for a wedding can be, and wants any surgical endeavors to be seamless and as smooth as possible. Less downtime, less swelling, less bruising – are all part of the closed scarless rhinoplasty approach with Dr. Kanodia.
Being of Indian descent, Dr. Kanodia has a special respect for the Indian and South Asian nose. Dr. Kanodia has been sought after for decades by Bollywood’s biggest stars and India’s biggest business tycoons as their only choice for their nose. Dr. Kanodia’s scarless approach to the nose with subtle minimal refinement is why he has become so popular in India and all of South Asia.
Dr. Kanodia believes in enhancing the nose without drastic change. He believes inflicting a scar in the middle of a painting (open rhinoplasty) is blasphemous and recommends almost all primary noses be done via the closed scarless approach that he has championed for decades. Preserving the character of the South Asian nose is paramount and in doing so, Dr. Kanodia is able to get away without any tell-tale signs of surgery.
Dr. Kanodia is proud to have helped numerous professional athletes from the NBA, NHL, NFL, as well as Olympic Gold Medalists, Top Tennis Players, and other Peak Performance Coaches improve their life by improving their breathing. As Yoga states, “Breath is Life.” And the quality of life is based on the ability to breathe well from the nose.
Functional Rhinoplasty can be performed with or without any external cosmetic changes to the nose. For athletes to function at peak levels, they require as much oxygen as possible into the body. Oxygen is warmed, humidified, and moistened by the nose which lets oxygen transfer from the air in the lungs into the blood much better.
When there is a nasal blockage, more air travels to the lungs from the mouth, which is not warmed, humidified or moistened, and therefore the transfer of oxygen is less. This leads to less oxygenation of the blood for patients with nasal obstruction. The biggest key to helping breathing surgery is to address all the possible factors including:
- Septum
- Inferior Turbinates
- Nasal Valves
- Allergies
- Polyps, Chronic Sinusitis, or other medical conditions
The first 3 can be addressed surgically with Dr. Kanodia’s scarless technique to give optimal breathing from the nose and peak enhancement of oxygenation. The last 2 are addressed medically depending on their severity. Identifying and resolving each issue individually is critical to long lasting success for our peak performance Athletes.
