Tips on dos and dont's
- When taking profile shots, make sure to have the lens of the camera the
same height as the middle of your face. Do not tilt your head when taking
profile shots.
- Some cameras don't focus well if the pictures are taken too close to the
face. Move back slightly when taking pictures. You must have someone else
take the photos, please do not try to take them yourself.
- Distracting backgrounds, like book cases, other pictures, mirrors, can hide
your nose from the camera. All pictures should be taken against a clear, dark
background that is NOT white.
- The location of flash, especially on white backgrounds can give shadows
altering the shape of your nose. Dark backgrounds seem to work best when taking
pictures.
- When taking pictures, show the entire face, not only the parts of your face
which you don't like.
- If you have a picture of you smiling, please include the same angle without
the smile.
